Academic Quests

Academic Quests takes pride in collaborating with international organisations to provide enriching opportunities for students.

Artificial intelligence (AI) involves using algorithms in a computer system to mimic how humans think and act. In simple terms, AI aims to make computers behave like humans.

Veritas AI is a cutting-edge program for high school students. It’s established and run by Harvard graduates and alumni. Have you ever wondered why learning AI in high school is a good idea? Well, AI is tackling important issues like healthcare and climate change, and it’s the future!

Starting early helps you build strong skills, and with your own AI project, you can actually help solve these big problems. Your project shows you have the power to make a real-world impact. Learning AI early means you can work on projects that make the world a better place.

FUN FACT

Back in 1955, Professor John McCarthy was like, “Let’s call it ‘artificial intelligence’!” Then, in the next year, he pulled off the epic “Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial Intelligence.”

This shindig laid the foundation for all the cool stuff like machine learning, deep learning, predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics, and the rise of data science.

Professor McCarthy was basically the trendsetter of the tech world!

FUN FACT

Ever heard of the legendary Golden Robots? They were created by Hephaestus, the Greek god of invention. One of his creations was Talos, a massive golden guardian programmed to protect Crete, kind of like an ancient version of Terminator or RoboCop, minus the lethal firepower.

These robots, described in ancient texts with mythical language, were like the ancestors of today’s “Cybernetic Organisms.” Greek myths celebrated Hephaestus’ ability to bring objects to life, and it turns out, the concept of AI is older than Athens.

Professor McCarthy was basically the trendsetter of the tech world!

Veritas AI Programs

The program's primary goal is to provide students in grades 9-12 with an immersive learning experience in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Through group classes with a 5:1 student-to-mentor ratio, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of key AI concepts while working on a guided project. The program offers flexibility in terms of duration, allowing students to choose between a 25-hour course spread over 10 weekends or a condensed two-week format during summer break. Importantly, there are no prerequisites for enrollment, making AI education accessible to all interested students. At the program's conclusion, participants will have to collaboratively complete a group project alongside 3-4 other students, further enhancing their AI skills.

The cost of this comprehensive AI learning experience is $1,790

The primary aim of this program is to empower students in grades 9-12 to create an original AI project with the guidance of a seasoned AI expert. The program structure is centered around one-on-one mentoring sessions, offering a personalized learning experience. Over the course of 12-15 sessions, students will receive tailored guidance to develop their own AI model in their chosen field of interest. A basic understanding of Python or completion of AI Scholars is the prerequisite. At the program's conclusion, participants will not only have their unique AI projects but also receive a personalized mentor evaluation assessing their capabilities.

The cost for this comprehensive one-on-one mentoring experience is $4,900
Combination (Scholars + Fellowship) - $5,900

A 10-week program designed for middle school students (Grades 6-8) where you can start exploring the world of AI. This boot camp provides an opportunity to learn the basics of AI and its practical applications through hands-on projects guided by mentors from top universities!

The cost of the program is $1,790

A 12-week program designed for middle school students (Grades 6-8) with one-on-one mentoring sessions. Students who have completed AI Trailblazers can apply for the program. There will be three phases of the program:

Exploration and Learning (Identifying the key question and selecting a suitable machine learning model)
Ideate and Explore Data (Assessing project feasibility with mentor guidance).
Develop the End Project (Utilizing mentorship for troubleshooting and idea refinement)

The cost of the program is $ 2900
