Bushra Fatima
Ms. Bushra Fatima is an accomplished public policy expert and researcher based in Lahore, Pakistan. She holds an M.Phil. in Public Policy and Governance from Forman Christian College, Lahore, and a Bachelor's in Economics from Kinnaird College for Women. With a strong academic foundation, Bushra has built a diverse career focused on governance, economic development, and public health policy.
Her recent role as a Stakeholder Relations Consultant at the Chief Minister’s Special Monitoring Unit allowed her to collaborate closely with various government and non-government organizations, including UNICEF and the Nur Foundation, working on initiatives to improve mother and child healthcare and address educational inequalities. Previously, she served as a Research Associate at the Centre for Public Policy and Governance and as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Punjab Economic Research Institute.
Bushra has contributed significantly to several pivotal projects, such as the Punjab Growth Strategy 2023 and the Punjab Economic Report 2017, where she played key roles in data analysis, policy recommendation development, and report writing. Her research endeavors include studying educational inequalities in Punjab, assessing public health awareness, and evaluating health initiatives in collaboration with entities like the Punjab Commission on the Status of Women and UNICEF.
She has published papers on health insurance acceptance among female labor forces and the evaluation of trauma care systems, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based policy-making. Bushra's expertise is further complemented by her proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, STATA, Tableau, and QGIS, which she leverages to drive impactful policy changes and strategic planning.
Shahid Saleem
Shahid Saleem Baig is an experienced Senior Contests Coordinator at Academic Quests, based in Lahore, Pakistan. He has a strong background in contest management and operational administration, bringing over eight years of diverse professional experience to the table. Shahid holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a specialization in Information Technology, which has been instrumental in developing and managing efficient systems for contest coordination, data handling, and participant engagement. His expertise extends to designing and implementing innovative solutions for managing high-volume contest workloads, overseeing registration processes, and ensuring seamless communication between participants, making him a valuable asset to the Academic Quests team.
