We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Lumi.Network, the World’s first design thinking and AI-assisted entrepreneurship program, designed by Stanford University faculty and former McKinsey leaders. Their mission is to build entrepreneurship, design, and AI skills in 10-25-year-olds while exposing them to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges and collaboratively come up with tech-focused impactful solutions. Lumi provides a transformative and enriching skill building journey for young people to stand out in college admissions, and we are proud to partner with them.

In today’s rapidly changing world, traditional educational models are struggling to keep up with the disruptive forces of AI, climate change, and other challenges. That’s where Lumi comes in – it’s an AI-augmented, gamified learning approach where young learners are empowered to shape the world’s future (and theirs) while developing essential durable and digital skills.

Lumi was recently recognized by Hundred as one of the top 12 disruptive companies worldwide in innovating education by gamifying learning. Youth across 14 countries have come up with 80+ innovations, some of which have been showcased at UN COP27 and 28 by The Commonwealth. Lumi is highly engaging, empowering, and fun for everyone involved. Here’s a brief overview of how it works:

A cohort of ten participants across age groups and regions come together to confront a pressing global challenge aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The participants go through 15 live, Socratic sessions led by innovation facilitators from top universities and design programs around the world as well as global industry experts, alongside structured asynchronous work on the Lumi platform. They embark on a design thinking journey comprising four phases: Identification, Ideation, Prototyping, and Testing. Equipped with industry best of breed technology and AI-powered tools, participants create real, tangible, impactful innovations aimed at addressing the real-world challenge. Throughout the process, participants earn a personalized accredited digital Future Skills Passport, showcasing skills acquired in Entrepreneurship, Human-AI collaboration, Design Thinking, and character and values. Lumi Quests are designed to seamlessly complement academic curricula and can either take place over 8 or 15 weeks during a school term or an intensive 1-week long hackathon.
