Pakistani Students Shine in Future Problem Solving (FPS) Generative AI World Solutions Challenge 2024

In a remarkable achievement, Pakistani students have earned an Honorable Mention in the prestigious Future Problem Solving (FPS) Generative AI World Solutions Challenge 2024. This global recognition is a testament to the exceptional talent and dedication of Pakistani students and teachers in the field of artificial intelligence. The students who have been given Honorable Mention award are as follows: Enaya Ali, Faiz Murtaza, Mohammad Talha, Nusaybah Nawaz, Ali Mir, Mishaal Baig, Rameen Kashif and Shahmir Khan from Headstart School, Kuri Campus. This award is a significant milestone for Pakistani students, demonstrating their ability to compete with the best in the world. This achievement will undoubtedly inspire more students to pursue careers in AI and related fields. 

The FPS World Solutions Challenge is a highly competitive platform that brings together students from around the world to showcase their innovative solutions using AI. This year’s contest saw participation from numerous countries, with Pakistani students making a significant impact. The challenge for this year was Generative AI and the problem to be solved was: how will the emerging uses of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) impact how we work, live, play, and learn? It was a two weeks’ challenge were students from grade 5-9 worked in teams and researched the given challenge, applied the 6 steps problem solving process of FPS to come up with various solutions and an action plan. 

Academic Quests is proud to partner with Future Problem Solving Program International in order to bring the international competitions to Pakistan and to develop the ability of young people globally to design and achieve positive futures through problem solving using critical and creative thinking. Academic Quests offers students transformative educational experiences through collaborations with top universities like Harvard and Oxford, as well as international contests with globally ranked organizations. These opportunities help students build academic profiles, critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence.
